Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to Wallmint (the “Application”), a mobile wallpaper browsing and personalization application developed and operated by Parible (the “Service Provider”). Wallmint is offered as a paid, one-time-purchase application on Google Play. Creating a Wallmint account is optional. This policy describes the information we process, why we use it, how it may be shared and how you can manage or delete it.

1. Information Collection and Use

Guest use. You can browse, preview, save, set and favorite wallpapers without creating an account or providing your name or email address. The IDs of your favorite wallpapers and application preferences are stored locally on your device. These may be lost when you uninstall the Application or clear its data.

Optional accounts. You can sign in using Google or an email address and password. If you choose to sign in, our authentication service processes your email address, unique account ID and, where provided by Google, your basic profile name or picture. Your Google password is not shared with Wallmint, and the Application does not store plaintext passwords.

Cloud favorites. When signed in, the IDs of wallpapers you choose as favorites are associated with your user ID in our database so your collection can be synchronized, recovered after reinstalling the Application and used on other devices. We do not intentionally collect unrelated personal photos from your device.

2. Device and Technical Information

When you connect to Wallmint’s online services, our hosting and authentication providers may process technical information necessary to serve requests and secure the Application, such as your IP address, device or operating-system details, and the time of a request. This data can be used to support reliable operation, diagnose problems and prevent misuse.

Wallmint does not request GPS or precise-location permission and does not intentionally track your physical location. The current Application does not contain an advertising SDK or a separate behavioral-analytics SDK such as Google Analytics for Firebase.

3. How We Use Information

We do not sell your personal information or send unsolicited marketing promotions using your Wallmint account details. Any account-related communications are for authentication, security or service operation.

4. Device Storage and Wallpaper Rotation

Saving a wallpaper writes the chosen image to your device’s Photos or Gallery through the device's supported saving mechanisms. Setting a wallpaper applies it through the operating system to the home screen, lock screen or both. Images you save in your device Gallery may remain even after you uninstall Wallmint.

If you enable automatic favorites rotation, Android may periodically download one of your selected wallpapers in the background. You control the rotation interval, preferred daily time and target screen. Background scheduling may be delayed by battery restrictions, connectivity or other operating-system conditions.

The Application also stores account-session information, cached wallpaper content, pending favorites synchronization changes and selected theme or rotation settings locally so core features can function reliably.

5. Third-Party Services and Access

Wallmint uses the following providers to operate the Application:

Google Play handles the paid Application purchase; Wallmint does not receive your full payment-card details. Relevant service providers process information required to deliver their services, subject to their own privacy and retention practices.

We may disclose information when required by applicable law, a valid legal process or government request, or where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, protect users or defend our rights. We do not share cloud favorite collections with advertisers.

6. Data Security

Network requests to our backend services use HTTPS. User authentication is handled through Supabase Auth, and cloud-saved favorites are protected by account-specific database access controls. We use appropriate technical measures to protect the information we handle. However, no online service or method of transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Your Choices and Account Deletion

You may use Wallmint without signing in, remove individual favorites, turn off wallpaper rotation, sign out or uninstall the Application at any time. Uninstalling the Application removes local app data in the usual way, but does not automatically delete a cloud account that you created.

To delete your Wallmint account and its cloud-saved favorites, choose Account → Delete account while signed in. You can also delete your account through our website, including after uninstalling the app. Account ownership must be verified before deletion. Previously saved images in your device Gallery are not removed by account deletion.

8. Data Retention

Guest favorites and preferences are generally retained locally until you delete them, clear app storage or uninstall Wallmint. Account data and cloud-saved favorite IDs are retained while you maintain a Wallmint account, unless you remove favorites or request deletion.

Deleting an account removes the Wallmint authentication identity and its cloud favorite records. Limited technical logs or backups may be retained temporarily by infrastructure providers according to their retention policies or to comply with legal obligations. Images already saved in your device’s Gallery are under your control and are not deleted remotely.

9. Children

Wallmint is a general-audience wallpaper Application and is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information through a Wallmint account, please contact us so that we can review the request and take appropriate action.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our features, services, data practices or legal obligations change. The latest policy and its effective date will appear on this page. We encourage you to review it periodically. If material changes require additional notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it.
